The transformation from legacy voice infrastructures to integrated-IP platforms has empowered the evolution of video-enabled offerings catering to the rich user experience. Streaming media adoption is growing rapidly in the enterprise market, where Unified Communication, Video-Conferencing and Live Event Streaming has generated synergy and cross-culture collaboration among geographically distributed teams. Going hand in hand is the consumer market, where users are having a greater penchant for video calling, online music, VoDs, and social networks.
GS Lab has been instrumental in this change by actively contributing towards the telecom infrastructure as well as video-enabled applications. GS Lab has been one of the pioneers in providing solutions for end-to-end business needs.
GS Lab has established itself as a key partner to realize any concepts/ideas owing to its technical excellence and in-depth understanding in these technologies. We have immense experience in developing all the application components from UI to backend services. At GS Lab, we have multidimensional expertise in following solutions:
Communication
Our strength lies in the VoIP call processing, interoperability with legacy telephony and security with proficiency in protocols like SIP/SIP-I, H.323, SS7, IN/CAMEL, PRI/CAS – R2, Diameter, MGCP, Megaco, RTP, SRTP, TLS, IPSec and Tools like Navtel, Spectra, SIPp, INET.
Streaming
We have been contributing in media processing viz. recording and transcoding with good exposure to frameworks like GStreamer and cross platform solutions such as FFmpeg, VLC.
Multiway Synchronous Communication
We are actively involved in design and development of these solutions and their interoperability with any video conferencing systems. We have expertise in cutting- edge technologies and protocols like SIP, H.323, RTP, H.239, and BFCP etc.
Along with functional testing, GS Lab engineers have myriad experience in non-functional testing, which covers high availability, upgrade/rollback, stress, soak/sanity testing and performance benchmarking on the basis of concurrent sessions, bandwidth etc. of the products. The highly innovative automation team has raised the product quality by developing robust and customized test frameworks for VoIP telephony and conferencing solutions.
Service Offerings
Conferencing and Collaboration
Making the world a smaller place as users can now join a HS video meeting using any device.
These solutions make the world a smaller place as users can now join a HS video meeting using their laptop, tablet, mobile or any existing SIP / H.323 based telepresence system like Polycom, Cisco etc.
GS Lab expands the horizon of media processing by developing critical components to provide a unified conferencing and collaborative experience that involves stream processing (Muxing/ Demuxing, transcoding, metadata processing etc.), transmitting (SIP, H323, RTP, IGMP etc.) and consuming. We also assure the quality of the collaborative solutions through innovative automation techniques.
Enterprise communication
As infrastructure has moved to data, faster networks and the cloud, it has become much easier not only to provide basic connectivity, but also to layer on additional services. The demand for real-time messaging will trump formality in workplace communications.
GS Lab has partnered with stalwarts of enterprise communication platform enablers to create solutions based on their platform to address specific business use cases. In addition, we also offer engineering services for various video enabled enterprise platform and solutions.
Video Surveillance Solutions
Comprehensive experience across Cloud and On-Prem Video management systems, Video and Audio Analytics and End-to-end IoT Solutions.
Comprehensive experience across Cloud and On-Prem Video management systems, Video and Audio Analytics and End-to-end IoT Solutions.
Freeswitch
Scalable open source cross-platform telephony platform designed to route and interconnect popular communication protocols using audio, video and text.
Freeswitch is a scalable open source cross-platform telephony platform designed to route and interconnect popular communication protocols using audio, video and text. It is a bridge between legacy and next generation devices as it supports both wide and narrow band codecs. Additional support for TCP, TLS and SRTP ensures secure communication.
At GS Lab, we have leveraged Freeswitch capabilities to create solutions such as H.323-SIP interworking for IP-PBX and peer-to-peer video communication platform with transcoding and recording facility.
Media Streaming
Developed applications to stream live camera feed to enterprise associated in rich HD via the content delivery network secured through access control.
GS Lab has developed a generic video-recording framework - "Multi-Stream Video Framework" (MSVF) that is available as a ready-to-integrate library with the complete package comprising of the recorder, indexers, and the player.
- MSVF seamlessly integrates with live MCU offloading the entire recording activity from application.
- MSVF includes a pure HTML5 based video player which can be embedded into the application to provide an integrated playback capability.
- MSVF uses the additional document, screen and chat data streams to temporally index the recordings to enable easy and flexible searching in your recorded content.
In addition, GS Lab has an immense expertise in developing application to stream a live camera feed to enterprise associates in rich HD via the content delivery network secured through access control. The solution enables the end user to interact during the live streamcast and also records the live presentation.
Telephony
Comprehensive experience in engineering service for an array of telecommunication products.
GS Lab provides engineering service for an array of Telecommunication products like VoIP hard-phones, IP-PBX, Softswitch and Session Border Controllers (SBC).
Our extensive work on carrier grade Softswitch platform provides interworking connectivity between TDM, IP as well as next generation IMS/VoLTE and SBC - a telecom device exerting control over the advanced handling of media and signalling sessions and provides security to VoIP sessions. Some of the features include Local Number Portability, Lawful Interception, ENUM, SIP Profiler, Media Profiler, Multi-Registration etc.
WebRTC
Enable web applications and sites to capture and optionally stream audio and/or video media using proven best practices.
WebRTC enables rich, high-quality RTC applications to be developed for the browser, mobile platforms, and IoT devices, and allow them all to communicate via a common set of protocols.
We at GS Lab have experience in developing WebRTC enabled telephony and collaboration platform that provides features like session management, call processing, group/conference call management, screen sharing, dynamic changes to frame rates and stream resolutions and secure signalling & media. In addition, we have developed WebRTC enabled peer to peer telephony solution.
